20th SET Plan conference
The 20th SET Plan Conference will take place on 4–5 November 2026 in Cork, Ireland, bringing together policymakers, industry stakeholders, investors, and researchers to discuss the future of Europe’s strategic energy technologies. Co-organised by the European Commission, Ireland’s Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, and the Irish EU Presidency, the conference will focus on strengthening Europe’s competitiveness, energy sovereignty, and clean energy innovation ecosystem.
Celebrating 20 years of the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan), the event will highlight lessons learned, assess current challenges, and explore how the SET Plan can continue to drive innovation, competitiveness, and climate neutrality in the years ahead.
